Industry Leaders
Three experienced professionals who balance each other’s strengths and areas of expertise came together to create Domo Development Company. Two of the principals, Eric Doden and Scott Sorensen, also founded Domo Ventures, a boutique private equity firm that specializes in sourcing debt and equity with partners in multiple sectors, industries, and asset classes. Together they make a great team that’s dedicated to creating successful developments that enhance their communities.
John Hennessey
A founding partner of Domo Development Company, John is a licensed general contractor in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, and Omaha, Nebraska. He leads the design and construction of Domo’s real estate development projects as a managing member of Sunstone Construction Company, LLC.
John has over 25 years of experience in real estate development and construction. Over the span of his career, he has successfully led the development, construction acquisition, management, financing, and construction of 16 multi-family properties and more than one million square feet of office and retail properties.

Scott Sorensen
Scott Sorensen is a founding partner of both Domo Development Company and Domo Ventures. He leads the corporate strategy, management, and financing activities of Domo Development.
Mr. Sorensen has over 30 years of financial advisory and financial services experience. Previous experiences include private equity as a partner at Storm Lake Capital and investment banking services at a senior level with Oppenheimer, Ernst & Young, and First Chicago/Bank One’s investment banking groups.

Eric Doden
Eric Doden is a founding partner of both Domo Development Company and Domo Ventures. He has 20+ years of financial and investment experience in a variety of industries, including tier one automotive, sporting goods manufacturing, steel, construction products, and real estate development. He formerly served as the president of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) for the State of Indiana and currently serves as CEO at Greater Fort Wayne, Inc.
A native Hoosier, Eric proudly calls Fort Wayne home with his wife Maci and their four children. He is dedicated to helping his community grow through exciting and meaningful development projects.
